Multi-Band Display

In Action

The multi-band display has been a long time coming but now it's here. As you see from the video, you can tune in any band just as you would in the main window.

Selecting

To open select Multi-Band from the Ribbon Bar, Receive, View pane. The display opens with the default definition selected.

Definitions

To edit definitions click the Organiser button, this is the first button in the ribbon bar. Click Add to create a new definition or Edit to update an existing definition. The Bands Organiser is displayed.

Bands Organiser

Design the layout using the matrix. Add as many bands as you want, band frequency ranges can even overlap. The used space is scaled to the monitor, so unused rows at the top and bottom as well as rows on the left and right are ignored.

Band Selection

If you select a band from the ribbon bar's bands panel the band frequency range is transferred to the main display in SDR Console.

Contrast

Either use the same contrast setting in each band window as the main SDR Console display or compute an optimum contrast for each band widow. Make this selection with the options in the ribbon bar's Contrast panel.
